“ My sister used to live in the area and recommended Spats to us - we were traveling through on our way to visit my parents. My husband and I both ordered the breaded haddock and shared an order of cheese curds and the strawberry shortcake. He also ordered the clam chowder. Now, my honey is a super foodie. He keeps a list of his favorite foods on this list and this list is coveted by many of his business associates! Both the clam chowder and the strawberry shortcake made his list! The haddock was so good I took a couple of pieces home with me. The food was great! Our server, Karen, was very attentive, but not overly so and very pleasant. The busser was Johnny on the spot. Just a great experience! ”

“ Whelp, we had to go back to Spats to try some other items. Started out with that amazing bang bang shrimp again! Hubby had the steak Diane which was really really awesome! Those round potatoes were melt in your mouth! The steak was also very good with that very flavorful gravy. I opted for the Bacon cheeseburger with truffle fries. Food seems to be very consistent and amazing! The last time we had the mushroom Swiss burger which was also amazing. Can’t wait to go back again! ”
